Ex in the City
by Portia MacIntosh
⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 Stars
Ex in the City by Portia Macintosh is a second chance, Best friends to Lovers, Rockstar romance with an interesting storyline and characters.
So the good parts... I loved the MCs. Nicole is definitely my favourite FMC out of everything I read recently. Dylan too was perfect in a weird way. Then the kids, their characters are so sweet! Macintosh blended both the rockstar - paparazzi life so effortlessly, it came out very well. The whole suburban part gave me some serious Desperate housewives vibes! (Which is actually a good thing!) Her detailing in every aspect was on point!
Now for the not so good parts, the only thing that irked me was the narrative. I do love the fact that it first POV. But there wasn't something about it that wasn't giving it to me! But other than that, I don't think I disliked anything about the book.
A solid 4/5 stars. This was my very first Portia Macintosh book and I enjoyed it very well!
