. It’s about a 48 year old Italian divorcee professor who goes on a beach vacation in Greece. She encounters a beautiful young woman and her 3 yr old daughter and becomes kind of obsessed with them throughout her holiday. It prompts her to think about memories of her own life and her own two adult daughters. She is a very real woman, and the memories she describes are candid and piercing. But she is also really unlikeable. I didn’t love it or hate it but I did find it challenging and stimulating.
