This is book 2 in the Pickle Creek series and it features Liam and Angie. This second chance romance takes us back to Gran and Pop's cattle and wheat farm. Liam lets her go once but will he really let it happen a second time? Liam is a selfish man. Angie couldn't be any less selfish. I think it's the old saying, "you don't know what you have until it's gone." The story line was great but a tiny bit more romance between these two would have been even better. I felt the intense attraction from Angie towards Liam but not from him towards her.
This fabulous story set in the outback of New South Wales is again, set up perfectly. I can see the flowing wheat fields, the dirt roads and the dusty utes. This author does an AMAZING job at making you feel like you're standing in the scene watching it happen. I look forward to whatever comes next for Annie Seaton.
