I loved diving into this beautifully written world. The gods growing in size and strength based on human devotion, and having a very exploitable weakness of boons, prayers, and offerings despite their massive power, was fascinating to me. I loved how the gods themselves were portrayed, ranging from ethereally human to a motley of animalistic characteristics. Kissen was so much fun to follow, and Inara, Skedi, and Elogast made for a most interesting traveling party. I admittedly dug my heels in when it was clear Kissen and Elo shared a mutual attraction for each other -- Kissen gave off such intense WLW vibes, it seemed forced to pair her with an attractive man instead. But as they adventured more together, I came to accept the pairing. This was an extremely Witcher-coded world and story, and I absolutely ate it up.
