Lost one star for not being written super well, and another one for the unsolvable nature of the mystery. Found the mystery timeline too complex to keep track of mentally. Also, thought it was a mystery, but it turned out to be horror sci-fi. Gained a star back for being absolutely unhinged. Happy ending technically.
