Book two of The Chicago Thunder and it was so good.

This book follows Jacob and Ethan Jacob being the older brother of Alex, from Trade Deadline, and the Captain of The Chicago Thunder, Ethan.

The season is over and we are in the off season and Ethan has to go back to England to attend his cousins wedding. No big deal except his ex, Ian, will be there and their break up left some things that needed to be closed up . Not wanting to go alone and provided the idea, Ethan asks Jacob to go with him. After Ethan asks Jacob, he takes sometime to think but ultimately say, yes.

While in England and since these two are totally in to each other and have crushes, they decide to have a summer fling. BUT only while in England. During their time together, they discover they both are dealing with their own grief and loss but together and talking about this, they being to work through and change things in their lives so they are just not "existing" any more but living.

This was such a sweat read. The two of them together had chemistry and not just in the bedroom but outside of it as well. They formed an even deeper connection which I think opened the door for the possibility for them to be more. I think the way Jodi developed the characters situations with their grief and loss was done well. There was not alot of Hockey in this one but that was the intent as it was "off season".
