The Three-Body Problem by Cixin Liu
- Plot- or character-driven? A mix
- Strong character development? No
- Loveable characters? No
- Flaws of characters a main focus? It's complicated
3.0
Notes from the read
- this book had the potential to be really good but the last 50 pages just rubbed me the wrong way with the pace and deeeeep scientific hard sci-fi discussions/Explanations
-character wise I feel like Ye had the most building and stature, but Da Shi was my favorite
-I really enjoyed a lot of the abstract comparison between so many different things.
Character comparisons.
Real life comparison
Contrast between worlds etc.
All fine really well, but the ending was just not what I was expecting and if I’m being forreal almost put me to sleep like 3 times.
