Sticks and Stone
by Grace McGinty
I love Grace's books. When I learned she was combining my favorite sport with one of my favorite genres, I was sold.
Nova has been through the ringer. First, she lost her parents in a car accident, then she found out she has a little brother, Huey, because her dad cheated... OOOF. Plus she only finds out about him because the mom died after birth. Now she's fighting for custody of Huey against his uncles; two pro ice hockey players, and a CEO.
What happens when they decide that the best thing for Huey is for them to all live in the same house and raise Huey together? With sexual tension rising, how will Nova fight the attraction and do what she thinks is best for Huey?
This book was spicy, plot filled, loved the smut and kinks represented. It's rare to see a male with a praise kink and I LOVED it. I cried, I laughed, and I fell in love with this book. Definitely recommend.
Thank you to Grace for the advanced review copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
