I had this sitting on my shelf for a year before I read it, but I really like it.
Angel is such a frustrating character to read about, but I can't imagine what it must be like to be in that position. Of course her heart would be hardened.
I love Michael and Miriam's characters, they are both so kind and sweet and loving.
I was so frustrated near the end of the book, but I was very happy with how it ended.
It's quite dark so I wouldn't recommend a lot of young readers, but it's quite enjoyable.
