If I wasn't the leader of our book club and this wasn't a book club pick, I would have DNF'ED at page 50. It was absolutely a hate read for several reasons:
1. There was no defined plot! It just rambled and rambled.
2. How the hell did this strong, beautiful black woman want this wimpy weak (rich) white man?
3. The use of big ass words that were unnecessary felt like an attempt by the author to prove she is intelligent.
4. The sex was apparently the best of her life, yet it felt like it was written by a man or a virgin! Fade to black romance would have been a better option.
Glad its over!
