4 or 5*. This book astonishes in a couple of different ways. First the story is extraordinary and secondly, you must be wondering, how did the author research materials to produce this book? I mean you need to have access to the spy networks (MI5 and 6) of Britain, the Soviet Union (KGB) and to a lesser degree the USA (CIA). This I'd like to know.
It doesn't seem the facts for the most part are disputed, so it is with wonderment, how such an escape could take place in a work of non-fiction.
The author is brilliant in the way he pieces the story together building up to a climax. It probably is the best political non-fiction book I have read.
