Ordinary Time is a delightful, quiet, introspective memoir by bookshop owner and podcast host Annie B. Jones in which she explores the life she unexpectedly built very close to home, one that was quieter and less adventurous than her younger self expected. I particularly loved her reflections on friendship and family but even enjoyed her reckoning with faith, despite not being a person of faith myself. Her message - "Your quiet, ordinary life matters, and the place you're living it matters, too." - was one I needed to hear.
