Me, My Dad and the End of the Rainbow by Benjamin Dean

2.0

The book was..... meh. It's supposed to be all powerful and important, and I wanted to like it, but honestly it fell flat. The children sound younger than they actually are, and it also feels like their adventure to go to the pride parade was put in there because the author thought that, 'oh, this is a children's book about children, therefore the trio must go on an adventure.' It kind of felt pointless.
Not to mention it was also dragging slightly, and I didn't feel like finishing it. In fact, when I finally got to the last chapter, I was RELIEVED. That's not how you're supposed to feel after a book ends
