Getting Real
by Emma Chase
Connor and Violet are coworkers, he is a doctor and she is a nurse, they have a great professional relationship which they both wish that it was more personal. But Connor is divorced and he has three young boys to take care of, he doesn't know how to begin a new relationship.
With some help from his brother and friend it is arranged for them to go together to their friends' wedding which give them the opportunity to see each other outside of work and give them a chance to take their relationship into the next level.
Violet bonded so wonderful and natural with his sons and I loved seeing then all together.
Connor is a great hero, at times he might be clueless when it comes to relationships but he makes up for it with the way he is so devoted to Violet.
I love how they both had hidden feelings for the other, the pining created so much tension between them, it was truly wonderful to see it unfold. Their relationship is full of humour, love and steam.
One of the greatest things in this book was how great they communicated, especially once everything was on the table and how effortless they blended their lives together.
Loved it form the very first chapter!
