Oaths and Omissions by Sav R. Miller

2.0

Went into it expecting a romance-first book as advertised, but the main characters barely spent any time together and in the few scenes when they did, they were either sleeping together or fighting. Then they jumped to being in love which didn’t make much sense given their minimal time spent together. It wasn’t even suggested that they spent time together, it was outright said that they often were doing other things.

Also, this book focused more on the characters’ pasts and efforts to overcome that rather than on the romance.

Lastly, a lot more violent than the others, so that was a shock (I had seen the trigger warnings, but this was above the previous ones)
