The Queen of the Tearling by Erika Johansen

5.0

OMGOSH. Kelsea Glynn is one badass teenager who you don't want to mess with at all. The last 50 pages, so much happened that I was soo shocked & I might has shed a SMALL tear.
I honestly dont like the Queen of Mort. I don't fully know what her deal is yet but she does seem scared of badass Kelsea which makes me happy.
I love the scenes between Kelsea & Mace. It's kind of like daughter & father relationship but not at the same time. I also love how she is with her guards, she not a bitch to them like most royals are but she shows kindness which I adore.
There's a lot of mystery about a few characters that I can't wait to read more about. One thing annoys me is why don't they tell Kelsea who her father is. Is he someone bad? What harm can come to her knowing.
Also the Fetch is a mystery that I love. I need more of him pleaseeee.
Fuller review to come on my blog.
