When I added this book to my TBR pile years ago, I didn't expect it to be as emotional as it really was. Maybe it's because I saw friends affected by 9/11 in similar ways to the main characters. Maybe it's because this event in history has been ingrained in my head from watching it happen on TV as it happened, so I was picturing the news reels from that day in my head as they were described in the book. This is definitely one I'm glad I read, but will only recommend if you're prepared for the flood of emotions that it will bring.
