This book was a fun plot with a mix of dystopia and fantasy. But I had a lot of questions. I don’t understand why the women had to die. If they weren’t a match, why couldn’t they just be sent back to The Above? Also, how is it determined what trifectas will test their stone against the women were selected? What if their match wasn’t one of the trifectas that tested their stone? Sera should’ve understood to an extent a woman not wanting to be in The Below even though she herself had adapted. Not everyone wanted or accepted that life. The whole fighting scene wasn’t realistic at all but was quickly resolved.
