a tender, heartbreaking love story about two young men in france that is split into three chapters set in 1984, 2007, and 2016.

idk what to say except for this is such a short story and should not be this heart wrenching. it’s devastating and beautiful and terrible. one boy grew to accept and seemingly love who he was, the other lived in shame and secrecy.

genuinely such a tragedy.

“i think, in the end he remained hidden all his life.”
