no hetero but this book is an absolute masterpiece
update on my second reading: this remains one of my favorite romances and one of my favorite novels!! she reels you in with the charming pen pal relationship and keeps you reading with a compelling depiction of breaking away from abusive relationships and finding people who treat you how you deserve to be treated. it’s such a lovely book, and the audiobook narrators are incredible!
