Did not finish book. Stopped at 41%.

i had to dnf her at 41% and i’m so sad about it :/ i was desperate for a good, black sapphic romance with a stud lead, and this just wasn’t doing it for me. i knew if i kept trying to push through, i’d end up in a slump. i think this novel should have gone through an additional draft and been pruned a bit more to eliminate unnecessary details and speed the plot up a bit. we spend a lot of time in the MCs heads, with very little happening between the couple on the pages in the first half of the book, so when they do interact, it feels lacking. i really wanted to love this one.
