Bright Young Women by Jessica Knoll

Did not finish book. Stopped at 33%.
I'm diappointed because i was intrigued by the initial premise of the book (while also recognizing it's unlike any book I've ever read before and any book that i tend to gravitate towards). however, the driving events of the plot happen within the first 4 chapters and then i didn't really know where it was going from there. i don't like the main character (who is a sorority girl in the '70s), and that's not to say she's ditsy but i just found her annoying and lacking depth. 33% of the way into the book and i had no idea what to expect from the remainder. it was slow-paced, character-driven (with an unlikable main character), and not my cup of tea.
