I would definitely recommend this. It is well-structured, thought out, and discusses the topics it goes over effectively. I personally don't think I would ever reread this, even though I enjoyed it. The structure of the book is chronological to her actual life, with each chapter acting as a vignette in the form of a memory. It builds off of each other without the need for transitional chapters in between. It is also written based on how she was feeling and thinking during the age she would have been in the memory, so we get an insight into her mindset developing through the years. This explicitly talks about her complicated relationship with her mother, such as what it was like feeling like you had to shape yourself into the person someone else wanted you to be, being raised and wanting praise from a narcissist, constantly catering to someone else's expectations of you, which eventually also culminates into an eating disorder that is encouraged. It also talks about the ups and downs and denials involved in recovery, along with a variety of other topics (relationships, fame, etc.). This is very well-articulated and worth the read.
