Even in the tense moments, this book had a calm feel to it. It was almost like I felt the calming security of the marsh that Kya knew just from reading it. It is beautifully written and really held my attention well despite not being fast paced. I love the characters too and how they were portrayed. Absolutely beautiful and brilliant.
