Margo is a 19-year old college student who gets pregnant by her professor. After he abandons her, she is forced to quit her job as a waitress to care for the baby, but has no way of financially providing. After her estranged professional wrestler father moves in after getting out of rehab for heroin use, Margo discovers OnlyFans. This avenue of income becomes a weird but satisfying creative outlet for her- it also pays for her attorney's fees when the professor suddenly decides to sue for custody. Then CPS gets involved, her dad relapses, she gets doxxed, it just keeps spiraling.
I can appreciate the nuanced perspectives on sex work and addiction. I did not, however, find the story funny or believable. I also thought the choice to switch between 1st person POV and meta-narrative was confusing and unnecessary. This just wasn't for me.
