"Before I Let Go" by Kennedy Ryan has been on my to-be-read (TBR) list for some time now, and honestly, it didn't disappoint! I am a big fan of second-chance romance because authors do a great job of helping the characters rediscover themselves and their relationships throughout the story. The realness and rawness of this story were captivating. "Before I Let Go" tells the story of Yasmen and Josiah Wade, who have faced devastating loss with the passing of two family members: Josiah's Aunt Bird and their stillborn son. Yasmen becomes depressed, and their love struggles to overcome the challenges. They struggle to save their marriage and find a way to co-parent their two kids while running their restaurant business together. As they settle into this new routine, they question whether old habits die hard or if they were never truly ready to give up what they had. A trip brings them together, and a stolen kiss leads to much more. Is it too late for them to find their forever again, or can they rekindle their love? Will things be better this time around?
