My friends and I recently did a read of Divine Rivals and Ruthless Vows by Rebecca Ross in order to prepare for Wild Reverence that releases 2 September 2025 since they all take place in the same world.
I read Divine Rivals in 2023 so I was definitely in need of a reread before tackling Ruthless Vows. I had a fantastic time this go around since I decided to do immersive reads of both books and I got so much out of it.
Divine Rivals thoughts: Iris was kinda oblivious but what she goes through is way more than an 18/19 year old should. I loved getting Roman’s pov with his perspective on Iris and what he saw that so many others missed, even when he missed the big picture.
