read this short story because the movie's coming out in october, and i love a good story.
overall, i love the concept for this and definitely found parts of it creepy. i'm eager to see what the movie adaptation looks like because i feel like short stories are never long enough and hopefully a feature-length movie will allow this some room to breathe and grow into something.
definitely recommend, especially if you're planning on seeing antlers (2021) - wish they'd have kept the name the quiet boy for the movie, but what can you do?
