I thoroughly enjoyed my first Joanna Lowell novel. I adored Lucy with her spunkiness and artistic endeavors. I even grew to trust Anthony, even though he has some definite red flags. However, some of the transitions between scenes felt jarring, and I wasn't convinced of the reasons for some of the characters' choices.
