OMG, this friends-to-lovers story blew me away! I'm not usually into this trope, but the "single dad surprise" in Valentine Bay totally reeled me in. Seeing a playboy become a dad and all the messy, real stuff that goes with it? So good!
I loved Abby and Will from the previous books, so I was already rooting for them. The story starts with a hilarious disaster (flooded apartment!), forcing Abby to crash with Will right as he's about to become a dad! Talk about awkward timing, right?
This book wasn't just fluffy romance, it also dealt with the challenges of being a parent, even for two people who swore off relationships. Seeing them navigate raising a kid while dealing with their own baggage was heartwarming, even when things got messy. Plus, little Seb is the cutest scene-stealer ever!🥹
Overall, this book was amazing! It had depth, humor, and all the feels. Highly recommend.
