The Healing Season of Pottery by Yeon Somin
4.0
The story follows a woman who has lost her way in life and accidentally stumbles into a pottery workshop. It’s a slow, introspective book where not much happens plot-wise, but it explores how people can find their way back to themselves and live with fulfillment.
At times, the book subtly conveys life lessons through pottery itself: you have to practice, it takes time, and you must accept the uncertainty of what the kiln will do to your piece. Every creation is unique, just like life. As someone who enjoys pottery, I loved this connection.
