I know the book didn’t end like. WHAT?! WHAT THE FVCK
I was not expecting all that happened and went down in the last few chapters to happen. When I tell you that I was left in disbelief. I would have never guessed this ending and that cliffhanger. How am I suppose to continue on with my life until the next book.
Aurelia is such a badass - I love a woman who isn’t scared of shxt and takes care of business. She is the “golden one” the lucky girl who survived the life she was born into it. But is she really lucky? Growing up without her mom whom deaths she wants to avenge we start to uncover secrets, diaries, why she is the way she is. The secret society she wants to take down and how disgusting they are. All why trying to remain unbothered by the man she truly loves. The man who was once her friend, that ignored her for years, the man whose brother she dated. She wants to keep that avenging side of hers a secret and wants her to share them with her.
Their banter is so hot. Their chemistry is delicious. I will say that the miscommunication and secrecy really was taking me out - like I wanted to slap them both. I enjoyed this book so much! Julian and Aurelia - ugh my heart towards the end their shattered and I am unwell
