Carrie by Stephen King

5.0

#1 I’m LOLing at my dates read. Yes, I finished Carrie on Christmas.

It is wild how Stephen King can make characters that are awful be people that you root for somehow. Or like somehow you believe that if you keep reading, the terrible thing that the book is about won’t happen.

With all of the death & destruction that comes, i somehow find myself feeling glad for Carrie???? Like all of the craziness of her mother was finally gone after she got to take it out on everyone else??? So weird, but here I am. I am glad to have read this, and i really did enjoy the writing style. I like how it’s “first hand” and research related. It makes it even more interesting than it would be if it were just a teenager’s mental babble.
