Beauty's Kingdom by A.N. Roquelaure

Okayyyyyy, I was prepared to give two stars to this trite continuation. This book clarifies that under the new regime there is more consent, and all the slaves are of age. What?!? The age-ambiguous slaves in the first books were minors? Fuck that. It's an unhealthy hybrid of pure fantasy, like unicorns and excalibur, with an actual consent romance? It did not work.

All the way down to one star for the Mengele potion experiments on slaves at the end.
