Ghostly Echoes
by Уильям Риттер, William Ritter
The Jackaby series has become such a good comfort series to fall back on. I love picking up a fun mystery, especially after a disappointing book, and this time was no exception!
I felt that this installment started a little slow and at first, the sense of danger was almost lost to me. But then again, the exposition is not completely lost; it's a proper start to the story and serves as the introduction for everything else. I just felt like their agency was a little slow when dealing with the matter of Cordelia Hoole early on. The novel starts to pick up about 30% in and then everything starts to come together. Luckily, it's a quick, easy read and I thoroughly enjoyed the end.
