I am abandoning this book. I have loved past Kate Atkinson books, but this novel just didn't pull me in. I got to page 165, then read the final chapters and realized I had no desire to return to the middle. I know it's dangerous to jump ahead with Atkinson in particular because she usually has such a great way of crafting her story lines to collide at the end, but this ending was just "Meh". I felt she had too many characters and none were particularly interesting.
