The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides

4.0

I had seen this book so many times but kept walking by because I don't usually read thrillers. They seem to stay with me and freak me out longer than they should. Well, my daughter read it and said it was really good so I gave it a go. I really, really liked it. It was suspenseful enough to keep me wanting more. It wasn't creepy, it didn't make me want to always look over my shoulder, and I was still able to sleep at night. I absolutely loved the character development and how they weaved together but what I loved the most was that you didn't really know what happened until the VERY LAST SENTENCE!!!

If you like thrillers, or are thinking you want to start reading them, then this is a great read!
