White Shark by Peter Benchley

2.0

Boo. I was extremely excited to read this, especially being a shark and Jaws fanatic, so when I saw this I couldn't resist. It was a quick and fun read, and did satisfy my ocean and "shark" cravings. However, the random romance thrown in between Chase and Amanda (basically in the last pages) seemed too convenient and easy to make a quaint ending. Also I couldn't help but point out so many things that were similar in both White Shark and Jaws, so it didn't feel as original as a Nazi amphibian war machine killing on land could've been. I guess I got out of it what I wanted, but that ending just was....meh.
