The Three-Body Problem by Cixin Liu

mysterious slow-paced

4.0

I’ll admit my interest waned when I was getting through the first 40% of the book, particularly in the chapters dedicated to the Three Body game. Some of the translated texts felt clunky, and there was a lot of trippy planetary physics that I was not particularly interested in. But I was thoroughly impressed by the big reveal, and how it weaved in larger existential questions about technology and humanity. I can see why this book has been recommended many times over and picked up by Netflix.
