The Worst thing about my sister is such a nostalgic book for me. It the first proper book I ever read and it remained my favourite for a very long time. It has a charm that remains even when reading it as an adult.
I love children’s lit as it Is an easy read and with Jaqueline Wilson there is always a simple but core message and she is never afraid to talk about very real and difficult situations that some children go through (but the worst thing about my sister is definitely on the tamer side)
