A scary future predicted decades ago that feels not too far off. The way our capitalist society is heading, I too might have a go-bag with seed ready… This was my second attempt at reading this book. The beginning was just shocking with the amount of graphic violence describing the world, but I’m really glad I pushed through to read the whole thing- it’s important.
Graphic: Adult/minor relationship, Animal death, Child death, Death, Gun violence, Mental illness, Rape, Sexual assault, Sexual content, Sexual violence, Slavery, Violence, Trafficking, Death of parent, Murder, Fire/Fire injury, Sexual harassment, Classism
Definitely a dark beginning, but the story is worth it if you can persevere through.
