The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank

5.0

I was a highly emotional child, I read this book in the 7th grade. I read it front to back within about a three day period. My teacher was shocked I dont think she thought the class would like it ( little did she know). A girl who was cut off from her world, who had to hide so that she could live. Its a story that brings people tears, people question how we once allowed life to get so grusome, but if it wasn't for this little girls story we would of never connected to those living a different life than us. This book opened my eyes to other people, amde me want to be an advocate for those who need a safehaven. This book took my middle school mind and turned it upside down.
