A Spot of Bother
by Mark Haddon
I didn't think I would like this book at first, but it quickly grew on me. The story is a simple one about a family and the secrets and difficulties within, but it's their realness that draws you in. Mark Haddon has a way about his writing that makes these characters more endearing than you'd expect. It was a quiet, fluid story that I'd definitely recommend.
