Kingdom of the Wicked
by Derek Landy
Magic is a disease. A too optimistic sorcerer wants to bestow magical powers to ordinary people. This sounds good, right? Yes? You're wrong! It's not. Well, you have to read this book to find out.
Derek Landy's writing is very unpredictable. You cannot trust even the protagonist of this series. And the antagonists of this book are hardcore bad and powerful. And I am in a state of shock because of the epilogue.
Can't wait for the next book and while I am writing this, I am in the 40th page of the next book, Last Stand of Dead Men. This is what I call commitment.
