A book has never left me so conflicted. The premise of the this book is SO important and I’m so glad I read it, but the pace is unforgivable! I almost DNF’d it so many times because of how slow it moved and I’m so grateful I didn’t because the ending left a massive impression on me, and I will continue to think about this book and it’s message for years! I wasn’t personally attached to these characters the way I usually am but the combination of them and their differences really fill out the story! I love that the author is obviously so intelligent, but sometimes the writing style lost my interest. Soooo many conflicting feelings but so grateful I finished!
