The one consistent thing about this series is the awesome art. However, I've noticed that it seems to get more complicated with each issue when it doesn't need to be. This is mostly seen in the two-page spreads. The quality of the writing varies with each issue. I found the lead up to the crossover with Wonder Woman a bit awkward, as switching between her story and Batwoman's didn't flow very well. Once they met the story got better, and this volume finished on a solid note.
