Happy People Are Annoying by Josh Peck

5.0

if u r reading this, i love u josh peck

this was a funny, poignant, and insightful book -- honestly i was surprised by how many life lessons i learned in this book. "find your apostles." "when you're ready, you'll do it."

it's also super refreshing how transparent josh is with his thought process around what he wanted to share and what he wanted to keep closer to him. ive always found it hard to critique memoirs because i always want to respect an author's privacy, and even if i may want more, they may not want to share more. but in this book, josh explains what parts he wants to focus on and why and it really just feels like he's telling the story of his life and so much more personal.

if you enjoy audiobooks, i would highly recommend listening to this, his performance is amazing. i listened to this book while running and sometimes had to stop to laugh
