The Writing
The writing is a bit confusing in the beginning, you don’t really know who the main characters are bc it’s written in 3rd person. I love a good 3rd person book, but like I said, this was just not very well done in the beginning. Other than that, the writing is fairly good. But doesn’t make up for the stupid MC and weak FC.
The Characters
MC is the classic "I’m a nice guy and did something kind so I deserve sex and whatever I want". Every thought he had throughout the book made me feel violently uncomfortable. Every time I read a romance book, I always wish the entire book was in 3rd person so that I could hear the MC’s every thought about the FC. Now that I got my wish, I’ll never wish for that again. It was giving a bit too much of real-life male thoughts. We read romance to see men in a positive light, not to see them how they are irl
