In this enemies to lovers, grumpy vs sunshine and brother’s best friend romance, Josie, a nurse, is ‘employed’ by her brother to ‘babysit’ his best friend, Wyatt, who is recovering from an injury.
Told from dual POV, it was funny and heartwarming. Filled with tension, banter, laughter and a bit of sarcasm, we are taken on a summer journey of meddling relatives, free range pigs, unexpected adventures and a HEA.
What I loved about this was how the author worked /meshed all the tropes together to create an interesting story. I enjoyed the complexity of the characters and their emotional depth.
This hits all the marks for a perfect rom com. If you are looking for something to end summer then you should consider this.
