PROTECTING YOUR FAMILY (FOR THE MISSION)

In Volume 2 of the beloved found family, Loid Forger (a secret spy; codename Twilight), Yor (a secret assassin; codename Thorn Princess), and Anya (a secret telepath) continue their journey, showing others that they are a happy family. Loid continues to stress about Operation Strix while continuing to help Anya with her studies. Anya manages to get into Eden Academy by a lucky chance after being put on a waiting list. While listening to her father's thoughts, she learns she must befriend Damian Desmond, the second son of Loid's target. Yor wants the best for Anya and wants to protect her, even though her being a mother to Anya is all fake. The family must endure chaotic adventures while balancing their work, and Anya must figure out how to help Loid succeed in achieving world peace.
Volume 2 made me laugh harder than the first one. We get to meet new characters and get insight into Anya's new adventures at school, and a lot is being pressured into her head. I'm glad she got to make a friend, Becky, and finding her way through the scary school. I love how optimistic Yor always is, and in this volume, we finally get introduced to her younger brother, Yuri. Yuri actually works for the secret police and sees Twilight as a threat, and when Yuri asks to meet Yor's new husband, this definitely will be a mission filled with trouble. Loid's stress and anxiety keeps taking the best of him, but he endures it all... for the mission.
